Developed an unhealthy love for suits. I honestly did not know anything about suits until i read a post about the different types, designers, tie knots, shirts, lapels and WAISTCOATS. I think it's mostly an unhealthy love for waistcoats in general 8D

Just sat through an ethics lecture with a member of the ethics community giving the presentation. It didn't sit right with me when the person said that the committee agrees on everything most of the time, with the exception of a few. I mean, the whole reason an issue is brought before the committee is because there is an ethical dilemma and i would expect a bit more..fight in a committee like this. Someone then asked a question and the person's answer was '...most of the time, we don't want to keep sitting here past 6.30 pm arguing our POV.'

Perhaps he is right in the sense that continuing to argue might not be fruitful when you have to arrive at a decision, but the process itself may unearth views/perspectives/facts that they may have not previously considered before. I, for one, am sure that if I was an involved party in an ethical issue, i would not like to hear that the committee voted for/against an issue just to go with the flow and make it back home in time for supper.

I think I'm well on my way to answering one of the many things that has been plaguing my mind in recent times. I read this piece and literally cried my eyes out because the author hit the nail on the head perfectly. It's comforting to know that it's okay for me to set limits that I am comfortable with. This part in particular spoke to me:

If somebody I like says something sexist, I do not necessarily decide that they are a Bad Person Forever based on that. I understand where they’re coming from. I’ve been there. I still unearth that badness in my head. If I’m not discovering new caches of ugly hatred in buried in my brain, I’m Doing Feminism Wrong. So it’s hypocritical and arrogant for me to apply a higher standard to those around me. Other People Are Sexist. Other People Are Racist. I go through my day expecting this, and I no longer feel a personal pang when somebody proves me right. You, I think. You are in my boat. I know where you are, what you’re thinking. You have not done something so unreasonable that I cannot tolerate you further. You have done something I can reasonably expect from a racist, sexist culture, because my expectations are in line with the world I live in. I am now able to create reasonable expectations for my interactions with you. I know that if we talk about these certain topics, I will find you impossible to tolerate. I know if we talk about these other topics, I will be able to interact with you. I can now decide if those other topics are important enough to me to outweigh any potential benefit of our relationship. I can now decide if I can expect the shit that comes out of your mouth and still be around when it hits the ground with a splat. Maybe I can, maybe I can’t, but I know I have a choice and I know I have control. Friends, coworkers, relationships aren’t being stripped from me against my will. i am excited for the remake of Nightmare on Elm Street =D that creepy nursery rhyme at the end of the movie is a favourite of mine. The effects in the older version may seem laughable by today's standards but it's one of those movies that still gives me the creeps because i watched it back when i was still an impressionable child LOL. (Also, read: Chucky. Nuff said.)

Things I miss from my childhood:

1.Goosebumps. And the game books. And how I'd try to mark all the pages with the choices so I could go back and choose another ending.
2.All the 9pm shows on TV3. Stargate SG-1. Beastmaster. The Invisible man. The endless persuading I did to stay up past my bedtime.
3.Metrovision. That was one good channel. Doogie Houser, I dream of Genie, Macgyver, Action Man, Underdog.
4.When homework did not take days/weeks to finish.
5.My school library which was small but had this huge collection of abridged versions of classics.
6.My old house. Isolated but plenty of space to run around.
7.Being a child gave me an excuse to climb into my grandmother's bed in the middle of the night when i got scared. as long as i was beside my grandma, nothing could hurt me. childish but yeah =)

It started off looking pretty neat because i spent years cleaning it up but quickly digressed into the mess above. There was just not enough space and we added another breadboard after this pic was taken.

Past week has been crazy because the project is due in about a week =( i'm lucky i have an awesome partner who does all the programming though XD i' d rather deal with physical components than sit in front of a computer, coding, because i suck quite a bit at it.

As much as I shamelessly love Junsu, even his brand of adorable cannot make up for the fail engrish of this song. The composition itself is very upbeat but the lyrics, good lord. It has the same effect of listening to someone drag nails down a blackboard.

It might be on the same level as Kara’s Pretty Girl which was pretty much a disaster with the chorus going:

Yes. Really. I once made the mistake of watching Music Bank on KBS World without watching it first on the net, and when the song came on, my mum had this WTH face on. LOL. And then she had this THIS IS GOING MURDER YOUR ENGLISH IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND DUMP THE BODY IN THE MURKY KLANG RIVER face on, and she told me so. Not in those exact words but yeah.

I agree. I forget what ‘under my skin’ actually means sometimes, LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. Not my fault Korea makes it out to be some sort of dirty phrase when it’s really not. The TV stations, however, seem to overlook the usage of the F word in the covers of American songs the artists sing.

I am officially in love with audiobooks, LOL. I kind of get nausea sometimes when i'm on the bus, depending on where i'm sitting and how crowded the bus is. Also, a bit hard to hold a book while you're trying to keep your balance as the bus driver stops and starts abruptly, LOLOLOLOL. Well, tbh, it's not that abrupt, but i've always had a problem with balance, center of gravity is too high XDD

FALL CITY, Wash. -- Ben Alexander spent nearly every waking minute playing the video game "World of Warcraft." As a result, he flunked out of the University of Iowa.
Alexander, 19, needed help to break an addiction he calls as destructive as alcohol or drugs. He found it in this suburb of high-tech Seattle, where what claims to be the first residential treatment center for Internet addiction in the United States just opened its doors.
The center, called ReSTART, is somewhat ironically located near Redmond, headquarters of Microsoft and a world center of the computer industry. It opened in July and for $14,000 offers a 45-day program intended to help people wean themselves from pathological computer use, which can include obsessive use of video games, texting, Facebook, eBay, Twitter and any other time-killers brought courtesy of technology.

It's really quite amazing how 'easy' it is to become addicted to the internet. I go crazy if I don't have access to the web for even a day. I don't facebook that much, don't own a twitter, but just flitting through the internet has become so much of a habit for me. I'm guessing that's why i've developed such a short attention span. Don't know if i've mentioned this before but there was this author who said people are quickly starting to resemble the technology that they have developed =( always moving from one thing to another in quick successions and always doing several things at a time.

So in a quest to do something about my ADHD-like symptoms, I have resorted to something that I used to do back during high school days. (I forgot I used to do that, but it's been like 5 years, so.) My mum made me do this after someone recommended it to her.

It's a white piece of paper with a 1 inch diameter black circle in the middle. Stick it on the wall so that it's at eye-level when you sit down cross-legged. The basic idea is to relax and just concentrate on the black circle, shutting everything out of your peripheral vision. eventually, the black circle becomes white (Probably because you've been staring at it a while like a crazy person LOL.). It sounds easy, but it's quite difficult to shut out your surroundings, for me at least.

Not sure if this is a proven method to increase concentration, but my concentration was seriously quite good back in high school, forgive me for saying this myself. Or it could be because I had less things to distract me back then LOLOLOLOLOL and the limited/no access to internet in those days probably had something to do with it as well.

Ah, those were the days, when I actually had to think of what to do on the internet. And the sessions were usually very short, with me just checking out stuff for school or checking email.

So, the moral of the story is, I blame the computer lab in Sunway(LCC? CCL? What was it called again? GOD, another thing I have to do something about, my abysmal memory.) for my degeneration into a mindless, internet-worshipping drone XDDDDD

I keep accidentally sticking my leg into my trashcan for some weird reason.

Wasted all morning thinking something was wrong with our project as I kept getting the wrong results all the way through to noon. Called my partner to help, called my lab demonstrator to help and they couldn’t figure out what was going on until a savior came in the form of a course mate discovering I had the AC-DC button depressed on my multimeter =((((( and I went into hampeh~ mode LOL because I had spent all morning doing stupid, dodgy things. Like connecting twelve 6.8Mohm resistors in series to get a high level voltage.

What am I doing in school.

I can empathize with people who hand out survey forms now. Tough job. You get the really nice people and the really cautious people who don’t want anything to do with you.

My housemate teaches Sunday School and she was telling me about this kid who thought he was a vacuum cleaner and decided to clean the carpet with his forehead. And how the kids where obsessed with cotton and covered rainbows and everything else with cotton when they were supposed to colour them in. Adorable, really, but makes you feel really grateful for when your mum said, "I'M GOING TO STOP THE CAR RIGHT HERE AND LEAVE YOU BY THE ROADSIDE IF YOU DON'T STOP FIGHTING/THIS NONSENSE NOW", she didn't really mean it.

So much of raw emotion that I literally felt my heart clench painfully. And the chords are a work of art, in my opinion.

LOL. I think I’m just becoming extra sensitive for some strange reason. U2 songs have the same effect on me lately, and I’ve been listening to them for years. The intensity of the emotions is a bit surprising.

On a happier note, yesterday was the big 60 for UNSW. Unlike previous years when the whole Quad area was fenced off and you needed photo ID to enter because they had alcohol in there, this year was alcohol-free fun. At least I think that’s what they were going for. The alcohol is just an excuse XDD The ones onstage will always take their clothes off and the rodeo bull riding will get gayer by the minute, whether or not alcohol is consumed XDDD

Anyways, got some free stuff, got a bit high on Red Bull XDD Caffeine is REALLY not good for me. I develop such adverse reactions to it.

Job’s going well, everything’s rather new with the project management tools but hopefully I’ll be able to learn quickly and be of some use to my manager =)

3rd day on the job. supposed to work 18 hrs a week during semester and a max of 38 during summer. juggling uni and work is a bit daunting, seeing as uni workload pretty much consumed all of my time last session.

that aside, my job's pretty interesting since i'm working under a design manager. Her job is one that requires a lot of versatility. You need to have people skills since you are the point of contact for all the stakeholders. You need to have the technical proficiency to evaluate designs and modify them. You need to do attend reviews, visit sites, get people to get things done on time, among a billion other things. She's pretty awesome and i'm already a little bit in awe with her and i've only seen her for 7 hours =) i think the job's going to kill me and make me like it too =)

school starts on monday and it's lab first thing in the morning. wow. what a surprise.

Went to Movie World over the weekend. The outdoor rides were fun but they were pretty short. 10-15 seconds. Cousin chickened out so had to go on the rides alone. I was never much of a screamer but i might have let out a 'woohoo' or two. Wish i had worn glasses for the Scooby Doo one because i couldn't see a thing. Supposed to be a creepy ride and i saw blurs of things appearing beside me, but you can't really be scared of things you can't see, LOL. i bet they were just skeleton-like things anyway, which is not really scary in the first place.

Not really hyped up to go back to school. Officially i have 2 more weeks of break but that might turn into one if something works out for me. i'm hoping it does.

after an amazingly long and hectic week which consisted of too many labs, a report, an assignment and a final exam, i'm finally able to breathe easy. Crashed yesterday at 5.30 pm, got out of bed to eat at 9, then blacked out again until 10.30 this morning. can't remember the last time i've slept like that LOL.

finally, finally got to reading Pieces of you (after eating last night) and surprisingly it took only about an hour despite the 200+ pages. i suspect it has something to do with the spacing LOLOLOLOL. Andante is probably my favourite =) the ending was so heartbreakingly pretty. and Coup de Grace was also an interesting piece. The book in general has this calm tone to it and confusion seems to be the general theme. A good read, tablo bias or not =P and he seems to have a certain liking for the name Mike. it kept reminding me of MYK, the honorary member of Epik High, LOL, and he seriously kind of gives off this 'confused Mike' vibes LOLOLOLOLOLOL.

anyways.

next week is the last week of school, and it comes with a serving of lab presentation and an interview. this really shouldn't come as a surprise after 11 weeks. Then we have a short study break, and YAY, finals are upon us.

will probably be going to brisbane and crashing there for most of the winter break since i have absolutely nothing planned. not really interested in going skiing.

apparently my junsu bias has made way for kyuhyun bias. why must displacement be the only way to get rid of my biases.

Just finished my final test before the Easter break. Had dinner and watched House. Can't remember the last time i watched House. Also, it's getting kinda boring. i miss the old team. Housemate's friend brought over his bunny because he has an inspection tomorrow so played with it for a bit. Snowy. Pooped on my housemate's blanket. but adorable all the same.

It took a guy to point out to me that my lab demonstrator is quite good looking, LOL. Didn’t notice because I’m always on edge during that lab trying to finish as much as I can before time is up. But yes, he IS good looking. Really pretty blue eyes and smiles pretty too. Yeah. I’m forgetting how to fawn over real people.

I don’t know what I’m saying. I’m tired but can’t sleep, so incoherency is my best friend right now.

GOD. GOD. I thought the weekend just started. But it's already Sunday and it's 8.15pm and I'm nowhere near prepared for both my exams and i've been working since Friday.

What is this.

Was planning to go to Brisbane during easter, but all the tickets are sold out and the fares that are left eat into my allowance too much. Ceh, was actually looking forward to it. But i guess it's not all bad, i could sleep the holiday away. Or study (AGAIN) for my mid-session (AGAIN).

The future is bleak.

yeah. it probably sounds creepy coming from me. but it's sucha sweet line.

oh physics. my preparation is a bit lacking. can't seem to retain things in my head for over 5 minutes, the next thing i know i'm all huhwhatisthatidonotknowitburns. physics is probably my favourite subject but the stress of exam coupled with the fact that this stupid exam is 1/5 of my grade is killing my love. senior no.1 said it's probably the easiest exam of the year, but i'm not..appeased. Lecturers are not to be trusted either. nope.

Students seem to be dropping out of the sky into UNSW. There is a bloody line at the library computers at 7.30 am in the morning. That is not right in any world.

Also, amused by the fact that ink cartridges cost just as much as the printer itself. You buy a pair for about $50 and guess what, the printer comes at the same price with both cartridges. Might as well buy a new printer everytime you run out of ink.

The day finally arrived. i love strawberry flavoured pretzel things.

Week 3 of school. Been occupied with homework/internship hunting/soul-consuming labs. Contact hours are supposed to be less than previous years but seem to be spending more time in school than before. Also, i'm on 'HUH?' mode most of the time, being slower than most people. But still, there is that satisfaction when you finally get something right, haha. Applied photovoltaics is turning out to be harder than i thought. working on my very first solar cell design =)

my housemate wants 48 hours in a day. i almost cried in agreement.

also, my head of school says if someone asks you something, you can almost always get away by answering 'Low Pass Filter'. You'd have to be an electrical engineer though XD

back in sydney. have been for a while now =( a bit bored with not a lot of things to do. all because of that false alarm (week 1 test). rushed back to actually be somewhat prepared for the test, but apparently there's no test. joy, yes. but kills all motivation in one go as well. could have stayed at my aunt's place in brisbane longer =(

occupying myself by rewatching FMA (THANK YOU CHRISTINA!) and reading Pratchett. Discovered Discworld by accident years ago when Popular had this sale where they sold off books for under RM 10. Enjoyed the book loads, but forgot all about the series in the midst of SPM, LOL. Anyways, rediscovered Pratchett through Making Money and Reaper Man. I have no idea how he can make all his characters so likeable, even Death. My favourite, seeing how he caplocks his way through eternity.

with 3 days to the start of school and my mind and elective undecided, it's promising to be one hell of a session.

I get incredibly amused when people keep arguing that gay marriage threatens the sanctity of marriage.That's implying that a happily married couple, regardless of whether the couple is same-sex or not, is a threat to your marriage. Well, if that’s the case, there must be something fundamentally wrong with your own marriage. You must not be secure enough in your marriage at the end of the day. Also, there are people who get married for fun for a few hours/weeks before they divorce, but you won’t allow people who are really committed to each other to take that matrimonial step.

Went to Anis and Nuzi’s place and started wiping out their raya cookies XDDD What? I cannot help myself. Then went to Razak’s open house and had lunch there. The boys cooked for 150 people o.O srsly. The food wasn’t bad; they had tomato rice, chicken sambal, rendang, acar, nasi himpit, kuah kacang (of course) and various kuih. Forgot to bring camera, so no pics. Then again, that might be a good thing because I’d only successfully make myself hungry again.

And finaaallly, Lovescream is out. YAY. Wasn’t too happy about it at first, but it grew on me, and now has me dying all over the place. YOU..YOU.. TAKE RESPONSIBILTY FOR THIS KIND OF CARNAGE EPIK.

Was watching The Colbert Report the other day when the guest observed that we are becoming more and more like computers, in the sense that we can’t focus on one thing for more than a few minutes at a time. I can’t help but agree, because it seems true as far as I’m concerned. I can only study in a quiet environment for a few minutes before going totally berserk. I NEED to multi-task. LOL.

Woke up early to go return the Stats books before I get fined. And I can’t believe I waited this long to read Catch-22. It’s hilarious XD I catch myself laughing out loud every few minutes. Apparently, all this while, Izza thought that I was crying everytime she passed my room while I was laughing. ROFL. Funniest thing I’ve heard since Palin stating Alaska’s proximity to Russia as foreign policy experience.

-went on a cleaning rampage and woke everyone up unnecessarily early on the first day of the holiday
- spent unnecessary amounts of time playing a stupid street racer game meant for 2 year olds at Toys ‘R Us
-spent more time gawking at the 1TB hard disk at Dick Smith
-spent a large (and unnecessary) amount of money on a laptop charger

But amidst all the wastage and fail that was today, found my iPod!

Jeylne and I went grocery shopping when we saw this bus parked outside the apartment. The bus wasn’t leaking petrol; there was a freaking waterfall of petrol flowing out of the back. I have no idea what the driver was thinking, and I was contemplating whether to rap on the bus and alert the dude, but the driver from the bus behind Leaky had already arrived with this incredibly funny expression on his face.

Driver 2: *raps* Can you see THAT?
Driver 1: Yeah, we’re driving back to the depot now.
Driver 2: You think you CAN? *makes flaily arms at the general direction of the waterfall*

LOL. Really. LOL. It cracked us up so much.

Grocery shopping was a failure, to say the least. We ended up buying loads of junk because it was on sale and made ourselves feel better by saying that we wouldn’t have time to cook during week 9 because Week 9 reeks of assignment due dates and tests.

Been stuck at question 1 of the electronics assignment since early this morning =( the zero pops up no matter what I do. I must be doing something majorly wrong. Hello frustration.

Laptop hated on me for a grand total of 3 times today already. Baby, you're outdoing yourself.

Yesterday was possibly the longest day of the year. Had a three hour lab in the morning, got tested, had microelectronics tute (i have no idea what's happening there), 2 hour embedded systems lecture with more programming than one should be exposed to on a single day, MATLAB lab, then another two hours of microelectronics lecture.

"...you should take care that beta is in this region. yes? oh sorry, that was your leg."

Oh wow. I haven’t updated in, what, 5 days? Gotta be a record. Past few days have been a slight bit tiring. Been out of it since early this week, so things are taking longer than usual to get done. Resulting in major lack of sleep. Also, I’ve probably gone up a notch on the scale of blurness, if that’s possible.

Had my 3 hour analogue lab. Results seem a bit fishy, so might have to repeat during next lab time. Also, my LM301 (the opamp) decided to hate on me and screwed me over, so wasted quite some time figuring out what the heck was wrong with the circuit. It ALWAYS happens to me. ALWAYS.

Got home around 3 something because finished my MATLAB stuff at home yesterday, so just went to tute to hand in the, er, hand-in sheet. Whatever. And YAY for no analogue lecture today! Lecturer is off in US, conferencing or something.

I heard the word ‘exercise’ only like 45639846823 times today (technically, yesterday. Doesn’t really matter. It’s just one huge week of fail.). To be fair, the fitness lecture was on the benefits of exercise. I didn’t know Tour de France cyclists have heartbeats in the range of late 20s per minute when they’re resting o.O that’s really is…woah. Mine is like a 76. Fitness tute was on posture and postural deviations (kyphosis, lordosis and scoliosis, did I get it right Christina, did I? DID I?? *kicked*) and there was a posture test (which I would have failed if I wasn’t wearing so many layers of clothes XDDDD).

BTW, the best thing I’ve heard so far today?? The tutor said to conduct a proper analysis on posture at home with someone your comfortable with. Or, he said, go to the beach and ask someone if they wanted a postural analysis!!! ROFL!

Had fun probability questions in Stats lecture earlier in the morning. Kept me awake out of curiosity but then I quickly digressed into Potato-Sotong hybrid after that.

Have super boring Opamp class (it’s called analogue electronics but that’s probably to make it sound classier or something ROFL) at 10-12pm later, so it would be wise to turn in now. Instead I shall watch more Infinity Challenge. NO ONE CAN STOP ME I RULEZZZ 8D

The initiation for the new member of IC : they raided his house at 2 something am with the pretense of throwing a house-warming party. Started grabbing things out of the poor guy’s closet then sent him out with one of the IC members to get them all food. Then, the ultramegatronicsuperduper evil plan commenced. The other 4 members hid 100 alarm clocks set at 9 am sharp, everywhere in his house (fridge, dishwasher, inside lamps, toilet, you name it). By the time, Junjin-sshi (the poor guy) came back home, they all had already left, leaving behind a note that said they were all tired and stuff. So, he didn’t think much about it and went to sleep, only to be woken up by what I’m guessing is My Worst Nightmare. Anyways, the actual initiation was to find all 100 alarm clocks in 10 minutes. It was HILARIOUS. Junjin was still half-asleep, (and probably annoyed) with all the IC members crashing his house again, wanting to cheer him on while he flitted around the house trying to find the damn things.

I must say, the plan is PURE GENIUS. I would love to do that to someone XDDD

Went grocery shopping with housemate, the main goal being the blue ribbon ice-cream on sale at coles. Had lunch (sweet and sour chicken with rice) and decided to do something like homework but ended up sleeping the afternoon away.

Summary of week: Dire warnings from lecturers about failing and such. my embedded systems class is almost twice as large as last semester, and i really don't know what to make of it. THAT many people CAN'T have failed. and why does it HAVE to be programming? I have this urge to harpoon my own head.

math has successfully slayed my will to live (BUT IT'S IS ONLY WEEK ONE! *cries*) and the anologue electronics syllabus is basically filled with operational amplifiers. The whole frickin 14 (or 15) chapters. WTH. How could this happen? I do not understand. I JUST DO NOT UNDERSTAND.

You know you've hit rock bottom when you ACTUALLY look forward to physical fitness lectures.

I ARE STUPID.

Anyways, I moped around for a bit, emptied the nutella jar *rolls eyes*, did a bit of homework, slept for a few hours. I'm being haunted by subspaces.

Watched more Infinity Challenge and punctured my lung laughing at Myung Soo's choice of biking shorts. It had ventilation. Had two hours of Statistics first thing in the morning. WTH. I died about halfway through and kept distracting the people around me with scribbles. I should be thrown out of class 8D

Also, my GENED (physical fitness) lecturer was all like 'Get rid of that family pack, and get a six pack!' What did i expect, the woman writes fitness plans for weight watchers. Some lessons and posture, exercise and diet would definitely do me some good.

Finally had linear algebra tute where we (and by 'we', I mean the tutor) did some review questions on Gaussian elimination and vector spaces. Mostly first year things.

Must try to get back in the groove. Can't afford to sloth around like I'm on holiday.

So, today, I actually woke up before 1 pm (GASP IS THE WORLD COMING TO AN END???) because wanted to teman Ann go cartridge shopping. It was raining but we decided to go anyway because we are lame like that. Also, I needed a printer. Ann figuratively b*tchslapped me for not owning one. It went along the lines of ‘GASP! WHAT? HOW? WHY? WHAT KIND OF STUDENT ARE YOU? Blah blah blah.’

You get the point.

One printer and refill pack later, we walked back to the bus stop (which is no where near the shopping place. My arms died a tragic death carrying the huge a** printer). Waited for a bit, and then realized we were standing at the wrong bus stop. So back into the rain we went. (also by this time, I was soaked and my hair took on a life of its own.) Waited at the correct bus stop and I checked the schedule and realized the buses go through there less frequently and that the earlier bus stop was ,indeed, the right one. Watched 2 buses go past the correct one, because couldn’t be bothered to trudge back there.

Also, we almost got mauled by this bear-like dog. Ok, not really mauled, it just went past us, but the possibility was there, ok?

I arrived home not a moment too soon because the box handle gave just as I was unlocking the door. Lucky~

Wend bendi, how to update if I’ve been stewing in failure in my room for the past 2 days? Anyways, this is what I’ve been doing.

Watched old/new episodes of Loveletter (Korean gameshow which you REALLY don’t need to know about). Old - as in, 2006 old. New - as in, just found subbed videos. Honestly, I don’t know why I even watch this show. It’s not as funny as X-man or Infinity Challenge (which someone has to keep subbing btw WHY IS NO ONE SUBBING THIS SHOW). Maybe I watch for the Yuk Chul Pal threesome of fail. ONE WILL NEVER KNOW.

But then again, I also watched WIPEOUT yesterday which is like the American version Istana Takeshi. Remember Istana Takeshi anyone? A whole bunch of insane Japanese contestants jumping around almost impossible obstacle courses and almost always ending up in face breakage? Yes? No? Anyone?

Well, this version is no less painful (the whole course is padded, since faceplanting is unavoidable) and worth every cent of the $50000 offered to the winner. You will be cringing in pain for the contestants but will be unable to take your eyes off the sheer epic failure.

I would add pics but really. I’m just too lazy, the intranetz is too slow and I has beef with laptop.

This is a CHEER-UP WEND POST. If you’re not wend, then you might want to skip the insanity.

Because I am beyond horrid when it comes to cheering someone up, I went to the nets for help.

I went to associatedcontent.com and it told me to yell "Bluaaaargh-bluwaaaa-bleaarrggh...Blaaaaaarrrgggh!!!" when you’re drinking from a bottle. Especially if you’re in a hurry.

OK, so go now, pick up a bottle of something good to drink (preferably non-alcoholic, preferably water because it’s hell cleaning up sugar on the floor). No, don’t just sit there. Wakey wakey. Yes, that’s it.

You might want to line the floor with newspaper.

I’m always quite the useless but I’ve been exceptionally useless for the past few days. Sat in front of my laptop like a zombie until my housemates took pity on me and ajak me go makan in Coogee. Had my first taste of duck =) duck = chicken + mutton? I don’t know, it just tasted that way. But it was good! But I shall not post pictures of my dinner and taunt others UNLIKE SOME PEOPLE. *coughwendliuyingyingcough*

I’ve decided I have a problem with a few things. (I also have a problem, according to wend, but that’s for another day)

1. Batshit faux leather costumes = not okay. Honest to God. WTH? It squeaks and totals the coolness factor you’re going for. Trust me, this screen capture was not enough to contain the epic disaster that was their 'matrix' concept.

2. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse, underneath was a silver, skin clinging costume complete with black belts running all over. I appreciate the need for you to service your fans but really? Like, REALLY? Did your stylist run face first into a wall? Or get kidnapped by aliens and got her/his brain poked around with an alien fork?

But then again, what do I know, eh? WHAT DO I KNOW?

Can you explain the agonizing pain shooting through my eyeballs?

I am sticking to Big Bang. Speaking of which.

3. Grey wigs. TOP, why, why must you do this to me? Where’s the jacket? Where, oh, where are the sunglasses?

Clearly I'm not happy.

So, I decided to sub Epik High's Fan which I've been wanting to do for a very, very, very long time. But Windows Movie Maker isn't great when it comes to rapid lyrics. Joy. So, Kohila just embeds wonderfully subbed youtube vid. It hits home with crazy fangirl feelings.

I especially like the second verse. And the washing machine scene which is kind of creepy.
